    Bridget McMahon

    Veterinarian
    Dr. McMahon grew up in Maryland and Virginia.   She received her biology degree in 1989 from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.  She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1994 from Virginia Tech, VMRCVM, Virginia with a special interest in avian and exotic pets.  She joined the practice in 1994 and purchased the practice in 2000.

    She is a mother of 3 children; plus an assortment of cats, reptiles, and 1 Alexandrine Parakeet.

    Ian Collins Civco

    Veterinarian
    Dr. Ian came to Pennsylvania from Virginia.  He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Virginia Tech in 2008.  Prior to veterinary school, he was a federal cartographer for many years.  He joined Kutztown Animal Hospital in 2013 after working at another clinic for several years.  Dr. Ian also works as a veterinarian for the United States Department of Agriculture.

    Additionally, Dr. Ian is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, where he is qualified to practice veterinary medicine in the United Kingdom.

    Kimberly Mickley

    Veterinarian
    Dr. Kimberly Mickley was born and raised near Allentown, Pennsylvania. She received an Associates of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Central Carolina Community College in North Carolina. After several years working as a licensed veterinary technician, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian and received her degree from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she accepted a small animal medicine-surgery internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA where she continued to pursue her passion for exotic animals. After her internship, she completed a residency in avian and exotic medicine at Angell. Dr. Mickley is board certified in avian medicine by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and has a special interest in small mammals and reptiles. Dr. Mickley also enjoys working with dogs and cats but her passion is exotic animals. She strives for the best care possible for all these creatures that mean so much to us. After all, they are our friends, our companions. 

    In Dr. Mickley’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her children (her pets that include a cockatoo, chickens, a fish, a dog, and cats), the outdoors, hiking, and exercising.

    Veterinary Nurse
    Rachael has been working at the Kutztown Animal Hospital since 2006. During that time she was working toward a degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after graduating, Rachael decided to continue working here.

    Rachael lives with her husband, daughter and son.  She shares her home with 2 retrievers; Jabba and Emma, along with 4 cats. Rachael also has a very spoiled sun conure. Out in the barn she has 3 horses-all geriatic geldings. In her free time, she enjoys spending the weekend with her family, dogs, and bird down at their beach house. She also loves reading and arts and crafts.

    Veterinary Nurse
    Vera started working at the Kutztown Animal Hospital. She worked at a shelter before coming to work for us. She is also ABC (animal behavior certified).

    Veterinary Nurse
    Sarah started working here in April 2012.  Sarah was homeschooled growing up.  She lives in Kutztown with her family and assortment of animals.  With 1 dog, 2 cats, ducks, chickens, goats, fish and rabbits, she really enjoys spending time with her animals in her spare time as well as reading and pressing flowers.  She especially likes to learn about and care for cats and rabbits.

    Receptionist 
    Kathy is a receptionist and Vet Assistant at the Kutztown Animal Hospital.
    At home she is a wife, mother of two terrific grown daughters and grandmother to one fabulous grandson. She is also a mother to 6 cats, 2 dogs and 11 birds!

    Terri is a receptionist at the Kutztown animal hospital. 
    She is a mother to a terrific daughter to her daughter and also the mother to 4 cats and 1 dog!

    He is also the proud parent of two dogs!
